A priority for ESPNIC Nursing is to promote quality neonatal and paediatric critical care nursing throughout Europe.

ESPNIC Nursing is proud to announce the ESPNIC Nursing Fellowship Programme 2010 to its nursing members.

This Programme is to promote, foster and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise between ESPNIC Nursing members in Europe.

Two awards of up to 1000 € each are given to an ESPNIC Nursing member to support their participation in an activity which will enhance neonatal or paediatric critical care.

The winners must be able to demonstrate how this programme will further their professional and personal development. Examples of this include: attending an educational course, visiting other institutions or undertaking a small research project.

Activities outside of paediatric or neonatal intensive care nursing may be considered if the application of benefit to your place of work can be demonstrated.

Applicants must submit an individual application as the basis for their request. They will be asked to show why they have chosen their proposed programme and describe the desired learning outcomes. Applicants must also be a nurse working in Europe. (Applications from current members of the ESPNIC Nursing SC or EC will not be considered)

Recipients of this programme will be expected to formally feedback the benefits this programme has made to the wider ESPNIC Nursing community.

The application deadline for the Fellowship Programme 2010 is set on November 1^st, 2009.
